The first of the Sojourn's land programs will take place in Plainfield at River Run Restaurant and will cover the history of the town as influenced by both the Winooski River and Great Brook. The talk given by the Plainfield Historical Society will touch on the economic and cultural changes that have occurred in the town since settlement began. The talk is free and open to the public.
Before paddlers jump back in their boats, we'll check out the site of a proposd rain garden in Plainfield.
